About Me

I am Andrew Mitchell. I'm Ohio born and raised. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Wright State University (2022 graduate). Programming is more than a hobby for me it's a passion.

I consider myself a fullstack developer ("jack of all trades") and am quick to adapt to new technologies. I'm mostly self-taught, though I did attend Wright State University and earn a BCS. I am a quick and lifelong learner and I'm always looking to improve my skills and knowledge. I am a problem solver and enjoy tackling challenging problems. Some of my programming skills include (though this certainly isn't a comprehensive listing):

My ultimate dream/goal is to run my own company, and I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow. Towards this goal, I run a hobby game/software development team, Crystal Void Studios. Currently it's just an indie/hobby team, but I'm always looking to expand my team and add new members and would like to make it a full-time team at some point.

I have a passion for learning how things work. Even as a small child I would take things apart, put them back together, and repair broken items. This stems from my general curosity about the world, which also gives me a lot of interests/hobbies, which include (and again not limited to):

I also write on my blog, Andrew's Blog Rocks, which is a personal blog I use to write about my interests, hobbies, and other things I'm interested in. Additionally I have a newsletter, Diving Into The Deep, where I write in-depth about topics that deeply intrigue me.
